Today in the regular classes we continued to work on projects. Here is what groups should have completed thus far:

Step 1 (Tuesday): Gathering Information
              1. All the planets' distance from the sun (miles)
              2. All the planets' mass (kg)
              3. All the planets' diameter (km)

Step 2 (Today): Mathmatical Calculations
              1. Convert all information from Standard Form to Scientific Notation
              2. Answer Questions 3 and 4 on the Outline (found on the website, see yesterday's post)

Tomorrow the students will be putting all of their information onto their mini-posters. The entire project is due at the end of class tomorrow.

In the advanced class we started working on an "Interpreting Graphs and Tables" Packet. They voted to use a partner rather than work by themselves, however this means they are not allowed to use me! (They knew that before the vote took place) Good Luck! Friday is the Pumpkin Festival woohooo! See ya Tomorrow!

Ms. Loving (0-1) defeated Mr. Mitchell (1-0) in a close one 3-2!
Ms. Chapman (0-1) defeated Mrs. Lafon (0-1) by a score of 9-2

Tomorrow's games pit Mr. Mann's homeroom (1-0) vs. Mrs. Marcum (0-1) while Mrs. Bragg (1-0) will take on Mrs. Wood (0-1)
