Today we checked homework. We then did a treasure hunt to study for our TEST TOMORROW!
4th:
We went over our study guide for our TEST TOMORROW. We then played a game. The big winner was Matt McDonald who earned 7 points towards his test tomorrow, way to go Matt!
8th
We also went over our study guide and did Pg. 64-66 #28-31, 43-48, and 65-74 for additional review for our TEST TOMORROW.

ReplyDeleteI am confused on when we will do the deductable thing with equations. im not sure which equations we simplify regulary or when we do the deductable. If i dont hear from u tonight i will ask u tomorrow in homeroom. thanks!!! Kara

ReplyDeleteKara - by deduct I assume you mean simplify? or maybe distribute?
If you mean simplify: You simplify if it is an expression (you can tell it is an expression if there is no equal sign). You solve equations, in other words figure out what the variable is.
If you mean distribute: You distribute when you have a number that is next to parenthesis which contain an operation, for example 4(x-3) you would distribute the 4 to both the x and the 3 leaving you with 4x-12.
