Got the first Monday of the year taken care of! All of the classes had a short lesson followed by a worksheet to take home and finish if they didn't get it finished in class. Tonight is our open house (where the parents get to meet and mingle with us teachers), it is from 6-8pm. I strongly encourage parents to come out and meet all their child's teachers. There is valuable information passed along at these meetings and it is much easier to communicate with someone you have met before, remember proactive is much better than reactive. Here are a few tidbits of info for this week:
Today: 7th and 8th grade open house begins in the gym at 6pm
Thursday: Football Scrimmage @ Winfield 7pm
Get out and enjoy some sunshine!!

Hannah, for number 2 think what you would do if they had given you the actual number , how would you solve the problem? Then plug in the variable n for the missing number.
