Last Day for me! In the regular classes we completed a worksheet on circle graphs. No Homework! While I am gone students will be going over polygons and triangles. Quiz Thursday! What a milestone! 100 posts and the end of the week! In regular classes we finished up our circle graphs, they were worth 25 points and everyone did a pretty good job. In the advanced class we went over scale drawings. Homework is Pg. 374 #1-12. Grades are up to date on edline. Have a great evening and weekend!

Past the halfway point of yet another week! One more and we'll be on spring break! In the regular classes we went over circles, for homework do pg. 364 #1-8. In the advanced class we went over how to solve proportions, for homework do pg. 358 #1-35 (they had 25 minutes in class to start on it, so they really should have about 10 or so to finish tonight!) PAWS Trip!! Today we had a rewards trip to the movies and the mall! Hope everyone had a great time! The weather outside is suppose to wonderful this weekend, get out and enjoy! The pic is of "flat stanley", who was sent to us by my cousin Jacob who is an elementary student in Litchfield, OH. Have a great weekend!

Alrighty then! In the regular class we moved on to angles today for homework we have Pg. 350 #10-18. In the advanced class we too our las MiniQuiz for Chapter 6. The students then made up a little "cheat sheet" for a quiz tomorrow. Have a great evening, enojoy the beautiful weather! The last two days have been a blur! In the regular classes we have presented our information from our shopping sprees yesterday and today we moved on to a little geometry. For homework tonight they have Pg. 346 #1-13. In the advanced class we have taken MiniQuizzes both Monday and today along with some homework! (Monday: Pg. 322 #1-8 and Today: Pg. 326 #1-9) Remember we will have yet another miniquiz tomorrow!

Thank goodness it's Friday! In the regular classes we started a short shopping spree. The kids had to figure out sale price, tax, and then how to make the money they had left over grow! They were in groups of three (above). In the advanced class we went over finding the surface area of prisms and cylinders. The notes we took in class are pictured at the left (if you click on the pic it will open much larger so you can read them.) Have a great weekend!!!

On the downhill side of the week now! In the regular classes we went over a few issues with last night's homework and worked on a few other kind of simple interest problems. For homework we have Pg. 330-331 #14-18, 20-23. In the advanced class we took a mini-quiz on finding the volume of prisms and cylinders, then went over finding the volume of pyramids and cones. Homework is pg. 314 #1-8. Have a great evening...it looks like the sun is going to come out!

What a bright, bright, sunshiny day! Go for a walk! Breathe the beautiful air! Wait till dark to do your homework! For the regular class we had Pg. 330 #6-13. In the advanced class we had Pg. 310 #1-7. Don't forget to study for your mini-quiz! On a grades note...I wasn't able to get everyone finished with the quiz to put it on the fourth six weeks grades. Therefore it will be added to the 5th six weeks grade. Have a great evening!

And let the week begin! In the regular classes we went over an expense word problem, checked journals and homework, then did a little classwork (Pg. 327 #24-25) that they need to have finished tomorrow. In the advanced class we went over a worksheet they had Friday, hopefully it cleared up some of the confusion. They need to complete #32 on Pg. 297. Enjoy the sunshine!!
