It's cold outside...but in Mr. Mann's class the friction from the pencils and paper are keeping it toasty! We have a test in both classes this week. Regular classes will take theirs Friday and Advanced will test Wednesday. In 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 8th period today we worked on our study guide (pg. 123-124 #32-49). We also checked homework assignments from Thursday and Friday and looked at Agendas, Journals, and Vocab. In 7th period we went over the first part of the study guide the students completed Thursday and Friday of last week. Tonight the Boys basketball teams play at Beverly Hills. The wrestling team did very well at a tournament this weekend, but I am not sure exact records. Have a great evening!

Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, school Rock! Today we had a busy day in Mr. Mann's Math Class! In the Regular Classes we had a quick bellringer, followed by 5 Vocab terms (see below), a mini-lesson, and the topping? Pg. 112 #1-6. In the advanced class we reviewed last night's homework and introduced estimating square roots. The students weren't too thrilled with this because they couldn't use calculators, but I it's like I told them, "I don't want robots that can only push buttons, I want students that can build and program robots". For homework they have Pg. 152 # 1-38, Omit #6-9 and 15-18. Tonight the girls basketball teams take on Hurricane as they try to right the ship after a close loss in their home opener to Winfield. Games are at 4:30 (6th grade), 5:30 (JV), and 6:30 (Varsity). Have a great evening and go Panthers!
